It's been a while! Just been taking a break from everything getting ready for next year. I've finally finished one of my favorite events. Experimented with my minolta lenses on this for a bit. Once I figured it was too much of a hassle and eventually switched to the ol 28-70. autofocus was terrible and there was a lot I couldn't use. But luckily panasonic just announced the S5II which I have pre-ordered and can't wait for it to come in! End of the year for the team over at Broke. Back at UCONN for a super dope venue. It was so cool being able to see my name up on the jumbotron and I was suuuuper hype when I saw that. I never thought I would be able to see something like that in my lifetime. Honestly feels like we made it. First and foremost I want to thank the Summer Send Off crew for allowing to capture their story. This was a type of project I had never done before and they trusted me tell the world what they wanted to see. We started filming back in July and I'm not going to lie. I had no clue where we going at one point. But after all the interviews. Hanging out before and after the show. Doing more interviews via Zoom after the show and multiple revisions. I'm proud to say that I think we're all on the same page and happy with the outcome of the video. It took so much teamwork between me and Tony to organize everything and get everything the way we wanted so I hope you all enjoy what we've put together. This is the first but definitely will not be the last of these videos. Also want to give a huge shoutout to Rex as well as he helped organized the whole thing. with him setting this up, I've made great friends that will probably last a lifetime. A quick video from a great weekend. Clean Culture was the day before but we were originally on the way down for this event. This year was so much better weather wise where as last those cicadas were everywhere and it was so hot I felt like I needed to change. This year I kind of just chilled out. 3rd different setup for the homie Derek. Glad to be able to grow with the homie and try different things.
